The term Player is generally meant for a really good player, round my way at least. As in...'Is he any good?'....'Yeah, he's a serious player'.

I don't mind a 'Pro series' etc, it's more every other bat being termed a pro bat, because an overseas opening bowler who bats 9 in an ECB Prem.somewhere once used it.

I felt encouraged by Kippax introducing a '4 star'.

Bit too jazzy for me, but I dont hate it. The adidas ones from a few years ago were classy and simple. The new balance World Cup one was a fantastic one off, but I think this new one is a nice improvement from last years.

looks like they have tried a bit too hard to stand out, nothing wrong with a simple shirt done properly

Maybe the designers arent aiming to appeal to middle aged men?

Wonder if Harrison will hand over his part of the 2.1m bonus whilst laying off 20% of the ECB staff

Slug of a human being...

Dont like it...it just doesnt say England to me when I look at the tshirt. This could well be a franchise tshirt (looks like a replica of the Gujrat Titans tshirt).

The best quote I have seen on the shirt is they look like the seats on a train...

On the new shirts, I think few of us on here are in the targeted demographic!  As a guide my 14 and 15 year olds like the kit

Sounds expensive...

Also it says something about the demographic change on the forum as it used to be 16/17 year olds and now it is a bunch of middle aged dads... 😭😭🤣🤣🤣
