Kabooms are not a surgeons scalpel , they are a power hitters tool of trade , power & performance over straight grains , the 50plus were more asthetically pleasing , a more traditional players bat who could use the weight , they were graded this way , 2 have both is to understand each bats performance , the flighty loud flashy sportscar & the v8 twin turbo bently , both have the horsepower but each appeals to a different driver , bring on this years models & take a test drive of your favourite.

i just skimmed back quickly and at least 3 people said they wouldn't tolerate a blemish like this, that CEAT I believe was returned because of blemish as well.

Thats right, tolerate a blemish like that. Not thats it no good. The fact they wouldn't want the bat is not down to its performance.  :)
Anyway...

I personally wouldn't tolerate a giant knot like the CEAT having forked out a ton of money (and didn't) since it was pretty deep and actually so huge it went across where the splice was inserted. Probably ok but also potentially a whole load of hassle if something did go wrong and not really applicable to the OP's issue. Main issue is it feels a bit **** on such an expensive *new* bat

In general I would be disappointed to find a knot filled under a sticker as I like having stickers off most of the time and would feel a little cheated, especially on a higher end *new* bat. That said, the bat in this case went through a heck of a transformation by the sound of it so was more unpredictable on B3's behalf. The fact it is a refurb changes everything IMO, though I wonder if the OP might be happier if the emergence of the knot was communicated and so less of a surprise later on. Bit lose lose for B3 as the OP could say they don't want it any more despite being more than happy with the original bat. Minefield to keeping people happy with a natural product!

I wouldn't be bothered in the slightest by this. Put the sticker back on and forget it is there, it's still the same great bat that you first bought!!

If it picks up well and plays well then what else matters????
