I actually purchased a decent safety trainer as I have had 2 toes broken in separate incidents!
As a bonus, the brand is a bonus, although not the same TK as we know and love!

I do recall @petehosk taking one on the toes at the last indoor Southern net - at that price that's quite decent for protection.

Just some Bowling shoes needed then - I did like @FattusCattus NB ones...what version were they?

I can't remember where I put them away for Winter!
But they are actually very light for the protection they offer!!
Not as light as the new light cricket shoes but for nets batting I don't notice any weight to them. And the toe cap goes all the way back to almost where the laces start, so the protection is incredible! If you got a 90mph yorker on your toe you seriously wouldn't feel a thing!

Did the toe guard from Stretton ever come to fruition?

@Churchy1989  - I think mine were the CK4040 rubber pimpled ones from a couple of years ago. They are very comfy and light, and I've ended up using the indoor and out.

Think George is likely flat out with the bike helmet this year.
