Inner thigh guard fit ? - RESOLVED
« on: August 29, 2020, 01:25:32 AM »

Hey Everyone. Posting for the first time.  Got my Stretton Fox thigh pads and they are a  huge improvement over the  ones that I used earlier. However, I'm unable to  get a good fit from the inner thigh pad. Searching online for how the inner thigh pad should fit did not yield much information. However, going through the  instagram page of Stretton fox, i see a difference in the shape itself between the one displayed  and the one i received. I understand that heating and moulding the thigh pad should make it fit, but the shape that is shown  does not seem to match and i don't see a way of getting it to the desired fit. Can anyone provide any guidance on how to achieve the sort of fit displayed in the instagram page ?
Here is the link of the instagram page:

And here is the one that I received.

I have reached out to Stretton fox on their instagram page , but considering how busy he might be, reaching out to the forum as I plan to wear them to my game tomorrow.

Thanks.

It's resolved now. It's due to me using a size 1. Thank you Novak for letting me know that its due to the size.

Hey bud, how would you rate these in comparison to your previous thigh pads and what do you think is the biggest plus point to own these?

I was using an SG ultimate thigh guard prior to these so these are a step above those. I was hit by a ball  in the one game i played with these on and though i did feel that there is an impact it did not hurt ( the bowler was bowling low around (65 - 70) . The other item is the comfort of wearing these along with the  lightness. Batted for around 18 overs, ran a lot of singles and doubles and never once felt that the thigh pad  was hindering movement  or bulky , but  used to feel that with the SG thigh guard. Over all, seems to be better than  the other thigh guards that I have used over time( Sg Radix, SG ultimate and a Puma ) . Never used Aero or Moonwalkr so can't compare with them .
