Title: Southern Nets over the winter
Post by: Mpt7 on September 07, 2016, 11:41:06 AM
Hi
@Sivlar13 @SOULMAN1012 @tommo256 @ppccopener @WalkingWicket37 @FattusCattus @Northern monkey @neoncricket @RoCo Da Pixie @simonmay5 @Batbuddy99 @LEACHY48 @petehosk

I have combined this list from past Hampshire lists and people who have mentioned interest in other threads.

IF I HAVE MISSED ANY ONE PLEASE ADD THEM THE MORE THE MERRIER. IF YOU ARE READING THIS POST YOU ARE ALSO WELCOME  :-D

We mentioned that we should do a CBF net again, personally I thoroughly enjoyed the last one even Brucie's induckers and the monster heat, so I thought we could get us all together again over the winter. This side of xmas is good before clubs start booking up facilities for their winter nets. my plan below

Time - My initial thoughts are Saturday or Sunday morning (11 onwards) 2-3 hours or longer depending on numbers
First one in October or November. To organise availability. simply put your name (CBF) and when you are available below

http://doodle.com/poll/qr2q7fb6gf6ypevf (http://doodle.com/poll/qr2q7fb6gf6ypevf)

The sooner we get this done the earlier we can start to prepare our significant others that we will be away during this time. for me this takes time ;-)

Location - Eversley cricket centre Bob Schofield Way Fox Lane Eversley Cross Hampshire RG27 0NQ

I'm not wedded to this place and encourage other suggestions for future events. I know Dummer (by Chase!) near basingstoke is good and Wargrave Piggot is also an option nearer Reading way but I will start with the Eversley plan.

I am happy to book and sort out money once we have numbers. let the games begin

this could be a very popular thread as soon as the penny drops the season is over. I'm in and will fill out the form.

Eversley is great even if you just want to stand there and lose three stone in weight.it's tropical and better than weight-watchers.  :) :)

well done @Mpt7

Eversley is 'induckermungous'!  I shall attempt to fill in this fiendish technical form of yours, but I am up for it whenever I'm free.

Always interested in a net session, especially if @FattusCattus makes some personalised run up markers  :)

Not sure on availability yet, but will try and add some dates later, or just fit in where I can.

Me too, however not too sure about my weekend availability either over the next month or so, a week-night would probably been easier for me.

Hello Batmen,

Thank you to all who have filled out their availability. if you haven't done it yet get in quick!!( http://doodle.com/poll/qr2q7fb6gf6ypevf (http://doodle.com/poll/qr2q7fb6gf6ypevf))  I have gone for the time slot with the most people available, Apologies if this doesn't fit for everyone but I've tried to fit the most people in based on availability and what eversley have available

currently we have @FattusCattus @neoncricket @SOULMAN1012 @WalkingWicket37 @simonmay5 @Batbuddy99 +1 and @ppccopener confirmed

@RoCo Da Pixie @Woodyspin +1 sorry i couldn't fit your dates however if you can make it let me know, you're more than welcome.

We currently have between 8-10 so I will go for initially 2 nets - which could be expanded if we have more numbers

I spoke to Eversley today, they have fairly limited availability, I have provisionally booked 10-1 on SUNDAY 27TH NOVEMBER which I will confirm at the weekend.

Cost wise it's £22 per hour per lane so the total is £132 plus the bowling machine (£15) total is £147 . Eversley require it to be paid up front in full. I can stick it on my card but if people can send me £15 and any difference I can give it back on they day/buy the first round ;-)

My paypal is Townson50@hotmail.com

Looking forward to to the net something to look forward to after the sun has gone

cheers

Matt

Just seen this thread,  certainly interested in coming.  Fattus I've seen @SOULMAN1012 block out an entire spell in a t20 you'll have no nightmares bowling to him.  I'm more worried about his bowling to be honest -  he took out my off stump playing no shot last time we netted together.
Title: Re: Southern Nets over the winter
Post by: SOULMAN1012 on September 18, 2016, 01:46:58 PM
@uknsaunders from memory still scored a 50 at less than run a ball😎 T20 isn't my strongest point normally only bat in top order if we have lost a few wickets but managed to avg 44 in our T20 comp win this season with 300 runs. You can still play properly in T20
As for bowling don't do much of that these days but I'll turn my arm over when your batting, skids on from a great height. To be honest not looking forward to @FattusCattus bowling all these I swinging Yorkers that he bowled last time

Hello fellow Wood Enthusiasts,

Thank you to all who have confirmed. I appear to have missed the 50/50 H4L session, rightful punishment for a poorly organised holiday schedule ;-)

7 have confirmed and paid

@simonmay5
@FattusCattus
@ppccopener
@neoncricket
@Mpt7
@WalkingWicket37
@Northern monkey

9 have confirmed and are yet to pay  -

@Batbuddy99  + Hanky Dad
@felix

@Vulcan Cricket
@Buzz
@GoodLeave
@uknsaunders
@Churchy1989
@Sivlar13

Total costs are still the same £147. If we get a full group we will get an extra net

Also thinking as there is a pub opposite we could go for a Social lunch as it will still be relatively early and after hard morning dodging induckers, I will need some food!

cheers all

Matt

21 people???????????  I think we may need another net, that's going to be pretty congested.

Even with just the 16 confirmed attendees only 2 nets is going to be a bit cramped isn't it, esp. with one net being bowling machine? Or do you mean 2 nets + 1 net with bowling machine @Mpt7 ?
Title: Re: Southern Nets over the winter
Post by: Mpt7 on October 31, 2016, 11:06:53 AM
yeah you're right. 16 would be pretty cramped.

I will book on more net. if we get the full 21 then we may just require the whole hall and all 4 lanes!!

Sounds good to me, the more lanes the better really (happy to pay extra if needs be!)

@Mpt7 I recommend you contact the centre pretty quickly as they have a fair few juniors and that who higher the extra lane and make sure you tell them it's custom bat forum as we get a better rate as we been going every couple of weeks lately

I think the modern phrase is 'this has gone viral'

we need one net just for the bats...well  other peoples bats.  :)

****UPDATE - TIME CHANGE!!****

ok so after a quick chat and explanation of our slightly larger group I got the following kind offer from the gents at Eversley crickets center.

11am start - 2 lanes and bowling machines and then the whole hall from 12-2:45. no real change in cost

I think this is better for everyone especially as we have such a large group this time so everyone can join and get a trudle and a hit

if this works let me know below by either a "YES" or "NO"

Sorry chaps, just been booked in by the doctor for a scan on my knee so not going to be able to attend now :( (suspected ligament damage, potentially putting me out for most of 2017 too)

What's more annoying is I've got a lovely fresh piece of willow arriving Thursday and it'll likely be sat gathering dust for the foreseeable future now - typical!

Cheers mate - it was actually at the Dorset net that I did it, didn't think much of it when I left as it didn't really hurt at the time but got steadily worse over the past few weeks!

Haha I'm sure! This one is likely destined for the new website now - although after it's had it's picture taken then it'd be rude to leave it locked away in the cupboard ;)!

@FattusCattus I've got a Blank Bats limited edition wheelie which I've been told isn't too big for our house. It has fibre board inserts, bat cave underneath, 3 sections inside, stands well and used twice. 25 fine English pounds if anyone's interested and can tear there eyes away from the wood on display (definitely no pun intended w.r.t. "Jousting" going on)

@Mpt7  things have changed again, and I can now come along for a couple of hours, so will sort out my payment tonight. May be tempted by a H4L if I can find something you like the look of, what weight do you use?

If I can get my act together I will be posting some softs (Ayrtek and VKS) and a bat in the sale thread before the weekend, and can bring along on Sunday if anyone is interested.

Morning chaps

Final role call complete. so we are going for a flat rate of £10 per head

21 people so the first hour will be a test in variation for the batsmen but once we get in to the whole hall we will get 4 nets going.

So if you paid £15 then you will be returned £5 these are below

@Simon May
@Fattus
@PPCCOperner
@Pete Hosk
@jblowe
@Dorset Dan

@neoncricket - I owe you £15 as you are unable to make it

This leaves us with a little extra (£25) which I planned to use for a future session or put behind the bar for the first round, I don't mind either way

see you all @ 11

So, for those of you who follow the soap-opera that is the Southern Nets (a bit like The Kardashians but with more polishing of balls), there are many things to report:

New chums arrived;

Dorset Dan - a ruddy-cheeked West-countryman who made sure everyone knew he hadn't played for many years. Total bandit, he bowled slingy away-swingers that were not filth, and smacked the ball about with gusto. Do not play this man at golf for money!

Jordan - not the large-breasted tabloid whore, but in fact @Woodyspin 's special friend that he bought along. Didn't see him bat, but he bowled late outswingers at a jaunty pace, and pinned @Northern monkey on his poppadum fingers.

Edge the Ledge - our own little 'gert lush' Bristolian, lanky and long of limb (a bit like an orangutan) he propelled the ball down from an energetic run, all arms and legs flailing and tested out the middle of the pitch. I found he was best played from square-leg with attempted slaps through the covers. Thoroughly decent fellow, although I suspect he ate all the flapjacks!

Post by: Northern monkey on November 27, 2016, 07:34:41 PM
I did fancy a slap of some 50mph half volleys on the bowling machine, but felt a bit of a gooseberry, and didn't feel comfortable interrupting .

Cracking day as always, many thanks for Matt for sorting

But was a great net although I was disappointed to miss out on those scrummy looking brownies!

Title: Re: Southern Nets over the winter
Post by: FattusCattus on November 27, 2016, 07:45:48 PM
In other news, Del Boy May and Rodney Line set up shop at the back of the net, frequently trying to set up passers-by with genuine Swiss Waches and Nylons.

Simons new H4L 50/50 is enormous and ridiculous

@WalkingWicket37 was wearing a very tight pair of hot-pants, think: (http://j88t.imgup.net/hot_pants7561.jpg) (http://j88i.imgup.net/hot_pants7561.jpg)

@tom line  bats better with a middling bat than a normal bat

@Batbuddy99  looked like a million dollars with a Mongoose MMi thingy, in fact intimidating the bowling machine.

Brownies are more popular than flapjack, which is in turn more popular than bananas

Everyone is quite casual about when they want to bat, until then end of the net, when we end up with 3.5 bowlers for 2 nets, and 7 people ask if they can have 'a bit of a hit?'

Title: Re: Southern Nets over the winter
Post by: edge on November 27, 2016, 08:27:46 PM
I found he was best played from square-leg with attempted slaps through the covers.
For this read Fattus applied the Jumbo with extreme prejudice! Was glad to be on the receiving end of what I believe is referred to as proper batting.

I think you could cut Simon's h4l in half and it still wouldn't pass the new MCC size regulations.

Hoping for some snaps from paparazzi @WalkingWicket37 to come?

@FattusCattus I have absolutely never so much as touched a golf club, honest :) You had a few balls that looked like they were destined for the corner of the net to come back on to the stumps so there must be something in the atmosphere there :)

Difficult to not sound stalkerish on a forum but super impressed with @tom line and the middling bat (I genuinely don't think anyone bowling realised), @Batbuddy99 's courage with a load a speedy short balls raining in at the start and I don't think anyone bowled more balls than @hankydad. Oh, and that Monster was indeed ridiculous!

Really was a very good net yesterday nice to see some new faces and some familiar ones, big thanks to Matt for organising and Pete and Simon for bringing a shop with them to look through.
Also got to face an 11 year old who was getting some coaching down there, he's a serious talent that lad going to be some player

Aha yes!!  How did I forget the 11 year old that bounced @petehosk  - cricketing gold that was!!

A really good net, however, I am now a great big stiffy!!

The older youngster who joined our net at the end was a bit of a bugger to face too! Never seen anything so fast especially off about 2 yards run up. I think after getting lucky and driving one ok all bets were off and he was after my head! I tried my tried and tested "I haven't played cricket for... blah blah blah" but I think he though I was taking the pi.. biscuit. Still got a swollen, purple finger from a bouncer I only partially managed to defend!

Does lack the comedy gold of the younger chap completely unexpectedly whistling one past Pete's ears with all eyes on the net though :) His batting was the second most majestic style on display after @jblowe too I'd say :)

Ah when you can only play one shot, there is no point in leaving it a home!!!  Next season I am going to have the Royal Imperial Guard enforce a "Pitch it up Rule".  Any bowler found bowling short to a good length will be taken to the tower and given a damn good thrashing.

Absolutely, and as such a mightily refined and regal shot as it is needs to be paraded with the pomp it deserves :)

Aha yes!!  How did I forget the 11 year old that bounced @petehosk  - cricketing gold that was!!

That kid was quite quick and it was a surprise that he had the pace. I still had enough time to do my Matrix sway in plenty of time.
His best ball was beautiful line and length just outside of off stump - was a peach of a ball. Wouldn't like to face him in 2 or 3 years!!

I saw that youth! He barely ran in and then launched the ball down at you at twice the pace I would expect from that tiny run up!
And how could I get close to comparing to the pure regal majestic style of Jason! His beard alone deserves a National Day off to celebrate it's brilliance!

Gents,

A cracking effort to all attending. some serious willow on show!! Pete, Simon. you two never fail to disappoint and Nick those were some seriously large bits of Wood!
I've transferred cash back to those that paid 15 early and to those with dicky tummies (church) and dodgy knees (Neon)

You all make the event and I always learn so much! @tom line you're teaching me how to clean a bat up one day soon!!

may Santa bring you some good wood!

So here's the thing - I only played half a season this year through work and family commitments. I thought I'd reached the end of the line and that the interest was finally waning.

However, I'm only 46 and I have a nagging feel I've still got 3 or 4 years of league cricket left in me (I still can't seem to quite give it up).

So with this in mind I'm in the process of working out how to bowl one that goes away and also the smack-it / block-it method of batting.

So it is with much surprise I am wondering if my usual Southern Net chums are all up for multiple nets in the off season at Eversley?

CMON YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!

My legspin contains more pies than Tesco! But beware, there is always a decent ball coming within the next dozen deliveries and the batsman will not know when this peach of a ball will be bowled! The problem is that i never know when it will be bowled either  ;)

I'm sorry @SOULMAN1012  you clearly fail the talent criteria for these nets - you are simply too good and this may cause a problem.

You clearly need to be able to do at least one of the following:

A) Miss a slow straight one  ( @WalkingWicket37)

B) Run aggressively straight past one ( @ppccopener )

C) Turn a really funny colour and go and have a 'nice sit down' ( @Churchy1989 )

D) Bowl a few decent leggies then quit whilst your ahead by announcing your arm has dropped off ( @Mpt7 )

E) Make sweet love to the bowling machine instead of bowling ( @uknsaunders )

Do you bake at all?

@DorsetDan 'sorry if I'm completley rubbish ' and then timing it like a right handed tresco thick from the wesssscountry just one of the highlights then bowling inswing  and outswing at will.

But nothing tops the 9 year old whose dad asked if he could have a bowl and proceeded to bowl with serious wheels and injure a fully grown man

He was about 5 ft tall

Priceless.

How about we put a couple of date suggestions out there?

I was thinking either of the following:

1. Saturday 7th October
2. Sunday 8th October
3. Saturday 21st October
4. Sunday 22nd October

That is less than 4 weeks away! Would everyone be ok with one of the above dates?
Please reply ASAP and once I have a few replies, I will call them and check availability on the dates above?
Also need to confirm numbers by the end of this week so we will know how many lanes?

Fancy car-sharing mate? Promise not to partake in more than 10 5 2 cakes on the way to Eversley.....unless they are as yummy as those brownies were last time you brought them with you!
And have lost 4lb so there is room for a cake or two in my life right now!

I have therefore booked from 10am-2pm on the 22nd. Managed to get the entire hall (4 lanes) plus a Bola bowling machine PLUS the Merlin bowling machine (likey!!) for a very good price!

As well as the 4 hours of nets, Merlin bowling machine, willow admiring and stroking, there is likely to be the most awesome choc brownies, possibly some flapjacks, bananas, plus if we are really lucky some samosas!! Plus there is the experience of dealing with the nature-defying swing bowling of Fattus!
And if that's not enough, you have enough willow geek chat to last you until 2018 plus there is a local pub some of us go to after which serves a very decent burger!!

Right, I'm getting up for this now - I've just realised I've batted 3 times this season, so I think I might need a little time on the old bowling machine to remember which end of the stick to hold! any non-bowlers up for some feeding?

Does anyone actually know how to work the Merlin Machine - it's not going to fly out backwards or something?

Pretty easy to get some spin going on a normal Bola if you put it on its side and play with the swing settings. Would be interesting to see the fancy wizard one in action :)

Excellent work @petehosk  - do we need to start a separate thread for the list of snacks people will be bringing?

I'll do a few brownies,(with extra for the drive down ho hum) and a few cup cakes

Do it! I'm sure lots of people would like a gander at your Velocity too  :D

@petehosk for the benefit of the kids at the back of the class who weren't paying attention, can you remind us of the time for the 22nd please? Ta!

Firstly Jaffa and his magical XL wand are attending (full list to follow once payments are out of the way)

And time will be 10am-2pm. Sorry about the early start but I wanted to get the entire hall to ourselves and all the machines too!!
We can't have just any riff-raff being able to attend! ;)

Can't let you guys have all the fun. I'm making a long London weekend of it.

A late starter with cricket and I've only really focused on my bowling. I've never-ever faced a bowling machine.

Just thought I'd get the excuses out the way first.

I would put the complete list but STILL waiting on a few people to pay!
Do I name and shame or do we simply close the event if someone hasn't either paid up or made arrangement to pay by Friday?

@petehosk  - you don't sound stroppy mate, you've put a load of effort in to organise this, so I think it's totally fair to have a cut off point of Friday for people to have paid you or contacted you about it.

Can't have any old 'Johnny Big Potatoes' turning up if they like it. This is an exclusive event for all the big forum stars (with apologies to @uknsaunders  and @procricket) - that would be a tall order (sh*t, there I go again! :))

All paid for and looks like there will be a mass of food and goodies, not to mention a mountain of kit!!
And we have the hall to ourselves!

Cannot wait to see everyone again and meet a few new people.

I genuinely think I prefer CBF winter nets to actually playing in the summer!

If you are still wanting to face the Merlin bowling spin, can I volunteer to keep whilst you're doing so?

Si - do you reckon you could speak to them?
Maybe we should see who is interested in staying? But there are 27 or 28 of us going. So could well be 18 or so pubbing?

Is there anyone who definitely HAS to rush off home at 2pm so CAN'T make it to the pub?

If your name's not on the list, you're not coming in!  ;)

@roco
@FattusCattus
@Mpt7
@Chalkie
@felix
@DorsetDan
@Northern monkey
Ram (outside forum)
@Woodyspin  (plus 1)
@Churchy1989
@LEACHY48
@ppccopener
@jblowe
@richyreed
@alexhilly1492

@edge
@uknsaunders
@velvetsky01
@Jaffa
@simonmay5
@tom line
@procricket
@TheDoc
@Dooey__
@wilkie113
And me (otherwise I won't be allowed in!  :(

I believe that's 29 including woodyspin's plus 1
27 will be batting/bowling, jblowe will probably be batting at least if his knee is holding up ok - that's 28 playing with procricket distracting everyone with his kit!!
With food, drink, some comfy sofas and more kit to look at than an average cricket shop has, I reckon it'll be a good day!

Please let me know if I have left anyone off the list ASAP!
Thanks

Dear Gentleman
I am in need of you help to fulfill my latest mission/mild obsession, which will require a small donation from you.  For the past two months I have been preoccupied in the collection of USED CRICKET BALLS.  These are not for my own personal use, but for our own forum brethren @LEACHY48.  Please dig deep in your many cricket bags and find just ONE ball to add to the EU Cricket ball mountain I have amassed in my garage.  I will be bringing with me receptacle where anonymous cricket ball donations can be made.  In return I will spend the morning frying 40 Veggie Samosas (made by the old women at my Mother-in-Laws temple in Neasden)

Blessings, good will and Knighthoods to you all. Thanks

Yes 10am I'm afraid!
I am normally awake by 8 anyway. But that's not why I made it an early start!
The time slot was the only way I could grab the entire hall and all 4 nets! May as well make it exclusively ours as we are special!  ;)
Plus we need the room for all the kit that'll be strewn around the place!!  :o

Sounds like Sunday will be a bit like 'swap shop'.

Would it make sense to have some structure around this with a separate - what are you bringing to sell thread? otherwise we could have kit strewn everywhere with no one having any idea what they can take away with them.

@petehosk as an admin any ideas on how we could do this without contravening forum rules and requiring lots of individual posts - I was thinking maybe people listing in a special thread what they may be up for selling with a ballpark price, possibly only viewable by those going to the net?

No - it is first and foremost a net, not a swap meet.
But as we do these regularly, they do often turn out to include some swaps and some cash changing hands.
And often people who wanted to sell kit do not. Whilst people who have no intention of selling or swapping end up doing just that!

The first rule of Net Club is: You do not talk about Net Club. The second rule of Net Club is: You DO NOT TALK ABOUT NET CLUB! Third rule of Net Club: Someone yells it's not for swaps, goes limp, starts crying, the swap is over. Fourth rule: only two guys to a swap.

Seriously, there is normally lots of time to admire willow! Some willow will obviously be there to stroke but not use and not sell or swap.
And there is always kit available to buy and swap! So lets keep some mystery for Sunday!

All this talk of swaps and selling goes out the window when Bruce amazes everyone with his banana swinging balls and when (if) his royal highness starts stroking majestic cover drives... mesmerising

Just dug out my net bat and shaved a coupla ounces off in anticipation for the hostile quick bowling I'm likely to encounter!!
Might even get one of those thigh pad thingies just in case?

Estimate that 4 people have dropped out (2 almost definitely, 1 sick note and 1 under the thumb prior arrangements)
This leaves 28 people (29 if you count Procricket, who is unlikely to bat due to injury)
So just over 34 minutes batting for each, spread over 4 nets! I guess that will even out to 30 minutes each!
Add to that a mountain of cakes and goodies, more willow your average cricket shop, plus option to grab a rather nice burger and pint after and it should add up to a fine day!

And thanks to everyone for turning up and making it an enjoyable day, even though Si and Tom seemed to take up far too much room with the refurbs Tom was bringing back and the amazing willow Si always seems to bring with him! There was still room for the countless bats others brought with them though as we did have the entire center.
Special thanks to @FattusCattus for helping to organise this, to @jblowe, @Northern monkey and a few others for the fantastic samosas, cupcakes and mass of other wonderful treats and water - you know who you are and deserve a pat on the back for bringing those! Unfortunately I wasn't sure who brought which other goodies so apologies for not mentioning others.
From my point of view, big thanks to @roco and @alexhilly1492 for sorting out two phones for me (my son is over the moon and I know Jess will love her present!)
Will be looking at hopefully sorting another Net before Xmas if there is interest.

I've got 3 on my phone but no idea how to get them on here.

Quite pleased there is no video evidence of a certain forumite sizing up Merlin and saying 'FOR GODS SAKE YOU HAVE TO USE YOUR FEET TO GET TO THE PITCH'

Only to find it was much harder than it looked and then get hit  right in the nuts when it was 'his' turn on the thing.

Really poor effort  :)

Best weekends for me are either the 18th/19th, 25th/26th of Nov & 2nd/3rd Dec. Sunday preferable (quite frankly just to keep the missus happy), but could do the Saturday too.

If anyone fancies another Warminster net in the meantime then I'd be up for that too! Started knocking my new stick in yesterday and now fully have the bug again.

Warminster bowling machine was broken when I tried to go the other week though it may be fixed now. They also only have 9 bola balls though I bought 20 on eBay as I knew they would be unreliable!

I would be up for another south-west net. Would be happy to go anywhere though the nearer to Taunton the better.

I'd been keen for a net in the South West. Be good to put some names to faces!

Seems a long time ago already but was there any digital format of this? I did see a GoPro on a Tripod.

Anyway, just want to share towards the end what I thought was the shot of the day. I think it was Churchy plus 1 bowling (quick all day) against Chalkie. Another quick angled one comes in and Chalkie steps across and while wide on the crease calmly gets down on one knee to play it over the top towards fine leg. Very AB like.

Really, I did that????    It almost sounds like I know what I’m doing.

Thanks mate, and loved your big GNs, that Atomic felt so light

Churchy's mate was great craic to face, had a good battle with him! Got a very good bouncer.

How about a net where everyone only brings 2 bats each?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaarghh!! Run away, run away - burn him! Heretic!!!

I actually turned up the the last net with only 2 bats. I did go home with more than that, however... :-[

The “proper” southern nets are meeting on the 26th Nov so this may mean a few might not be able to make the 25th - perhaps I would do my best tho lol

I'd definitely be interested in coming along if there's space? I've only recently signed up and coming along to a net and getting to know most of you and see all the different types of kit at the same time would be awesome. I know a mate of mine that's on here too that would probably be interested as well.  :)

I'm up for the 26th Nov, assuming I can actually pay the right amount and turn up this time.
