Have used them for years and on 3rd pair

Great shorts for those of us with larger thighs that get rugby players thigh

Bought a carbon flex box. I thought it must have been kids size , but it was mens . Way too small. Threw it away and went back to my aero . Pity , liked the idea of carbon fibre.

I thought (after posting) that it may be interpreted that way . But just trying to warn that the 'cup' volume is a lot smaller than an aero box . If you're used to an aero and then buy one of these you'll notice how much smaller they are .

Hunts county carbon fibre box is much less.

Can't see these on their website. Or on yours!

For what it may or may not be worth, I'd bet decent money that neither the Hunts nor the Shock Dr have any actual carbon fibre in them.

Not for the price they are flogging them at as my CF shells have gone up by 45% within the last 12 months too.

not on that particular site but i use the Titanium Alloy Shock Doctor. After a nasty incident involving a Gray nic Test protector cracking and injuring the tackle quite bad, spent the coin and got  the titanium one and was the best investment. Comfortable and no incidents. It wasnt cheap (about $35 AUD ) but really small price to pay. Been using it for 3 years without any issues

I think this is a case where we can excuse the "pics or it never happened" rule...  :o

To shock doctors credit they don't claim anywhere that is actually made from carbon fibre (called carbon flex), and the metal version doesn't claim to be made from titanium (its stainless steel and called Titan Alloy) just trick marketing i suppose to make you think of those materials.

That is absolutely not to shock doctor's credit... Can't stand this kind of thing personally, the worst kind of marketing.
