Strange how he never seems to have been considered for an England cap in limited overs, performed very well over a number of years now

its because the selectors cannot pronounce his name properly

a bit like Ted Lord Dexter when he was chief honcho and introduced Devon Malcolm to some dignatory ''and this is Malcolm Devon our fast bowler'

He did get selected in a t20 squad last year didn't he, but England picked Buttler to open instead if I remember right?

That is an absolute humping for the North! Looking at the teams you would say South are a fair bit stronger to be fair. Just looked up Coughlin as I hadn't heard of him before, obviously a young lad but how's he snuck in with a List A batting average of 6.6 and bowling average of 98?!

He was sponsored by @Vulcan Cricket and has a first class 50 using Deans gear

Fair enough, given that he's been selected with those stats I'm guessing he must be a serious prospect! Thought the sides were picked on stats from last season though, anyone know if there were some discretionary picks by whatever selection panel organised it?
