"Designed" in Australia, not handcrafted in Australia these ones aren't they? Still look great value and will undoubtedly feel amazing. Definitely my pick of the Australian range GN's this season!

Stickers designed in Australia, Bats were Made in Australia,

Would say someone at GN has dropped the ball here, just make it sound like they are trying to avoid saying made in India.

I saw some of the Atomics for sale in the UK elsewhere (look the same as these) and they didn't seem to be similar to ones I know were made in Aus. On the shelves in Aus there was Aus made and Indian made Atomics if I am not mistaken. Certainly there seemed to be two types of handles and the wood/ balance/ feel seemed to differ. They are for the Australian market for sure but

I was under the impression that only the 1000 models and upwards were made in Aus, i'm not sure GN Aus even have 300 or 400 models, and I havent seen that sticker on the back near the shoulder on any GN Aus bats, really strange if they have come from Aus.

They will state on them if they are Aussie made.

Don't the Aussie made ones have some sort of A stamped on the back of the toe, or is that not on them all?

They should also have an Australian flag cap on top of the handle

Im Not sure they have, they dont hide the fact where there bats are made. I'll try and get some handle pics up later, hopefully that may help.

I meant if they are Aussie made it's an odd thing to put on them.

The ones made in Australia have always been natural with no toe guard or edge tape/scuff sheet. I haven't seen them deviate from this in a long time.

Based on my experience, those Atomics are Indian. Thats not to say they are bad by any means, i've picked out and chosen to stock many Indian GN's over the years. I don't recall GN mentioning that they were Aus made when they launched them to the UK retailers. The fairly budget end Kaboom DW32 is definitely Indian made, the stickers say 'designed in Aus' on them.

The heavier one was purchased by yours truly, will pop up a review soon! 😁

@KettonJake Do Robertsbridge normally use handles with the S stamp?   I know that some made in India will almost certainly use them too, so it's probably not a definitive trait of a UK made one, but is that the generally the kind of handle used?

Also, agree RE the Indian bats, one of the best responding bats I have is a Powerbow5 400, and boy does that thing ping...

Like them, although not a fan of the tape running all the way up the bat, and under the stickers, what's that all about

That hashtag #forthehaters is stupid.

Seems negative once out of its immediate context.

On topic, I expect they will be fantastic bats.

It is strange, especially as most of the gn players were using the atomic in the big bash

Are the atomics only made to order (ie a bat made every time an order is placed) and what grade is the 800?

Anyone know yet whats the mystery behind the edge tape going under the stickers on these bats?

It's like GM putting the face sticker over the scuff. If you want to keep the stickers when you refurb, send it to the brand to do the work.

Been knocking mine in over last few weeks and itís a lovely bat, nice wider grains with the odd mark but it responds so well to the mallet and an old ball
