Boots for indoor nets
« on: January 09, 2017, 09:58:54 PM »

Hi guys,

Just a quick question what are the best boots/trainers to use for indoor nets?

The normal trainers I'm using atm are not very supportive and aren't very cushioned for the impact of the bowling action.

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Hi mate,

I use NB rubber soled cricket shoes.  Couple of pairs currently on eBay from LEC (Leading Edge Cricket) which is part of Owzat cricket at very cheap prices.

I've got some Asics rubber spike type boots, they do the job nicely

How are those boots for batting? I go through a pair of trainers each year with my back foot dragging on the carpet. I only use my old ones that I would otherwise throw away or keep for gardening etc.

Hmm...  :D

Nike's Lunar series were good, very supportive heel for fast bowlers. But as far as I can see, last years boots were the last Nike are going to bring to the market for a while.
