IXU Cricket bats-Faf du Plessis
« on: August 10, 2018, 11:22:17 PM »

Disclaimer : Neither I have bought this bat nor I am planning to do so.
*** The subject line may look like click bait, but I was confused as what to use as subject title.

While watching a Srilanka Vs South Africa match highlight, I noticed Heinrich Klaasen using very unfamiliar brand bat.

So i did some google search and came to know its some South African company “IXU” and their main sponsored player is
SA captain Faf du Plessis.

Before this I was unaware of this company.

Web Site :-

Some thing on youtube:-

Is there anyone on the forum who have seem this bat in flesh or have ever used it.

If yes- how was it, and what makes it so expensive -a part from being sponsor to Faf du Plessis, in the specs they have mentioned “Spirng handle”; is it real a spring that they are using and how is it different to normal cane handle.

I thought Id hop on this thread as Ive picked up an IXU Nexus
Given it a bit of a tidy up and netted with it... goes very well
I cant see anything special about the the handle.
Big for its weight (2lb 10oz)
Anyone know anymore about who makes them?
