I may have a left handed bat! That explains the lack of runs!

On that score:

Well, I guess you could wear em regardless of your cackhandedness or otherwise, but a bargain nonetheless - other sizes available.

Rather than add a new thread I thought Id share a second bargain that I need your help with...

This bat was 25 and picked up for one of my sons because it was light

I have put on some B.B. stickers to keep the weight down but its not one of Tais Bats, in fact I have no idea what it is...

Best guess is some model of Puma as it has an old puma grip on the bat. It is 2.7 very decent size and goes like the clappers.

The stickers it came with were awful and removed when refurbed (Lorimers)

Any ideas?

Looks similar in profile to a Kinetic I had yonks ago.  Looks great though, what I'm after really a lightweight stick like that.

Just need the rest of your kit for 75 now.

Sure it isn't just a Lorimers bat?

Sure it isn't just a Lorimers bat?

There were other sticker marks under Lorimers stickers and grip was nearly welded on... but I guess its possible.

Any advance on Kinetic?

I have some 20 Batas gloves and some 10 unbranded pads too - I am a proper cheapskate as it turns out

So this thanks to @Tom I fell lucky & spotted what I can only think was a mis-priced Amazon deal.

Having just sold a few bats and fancying a project I bit

And this is what arrived

One at 2.10 and other at 2.13
I removed the stickers. One bat was much easier than the other.
And Ive given them both a pass with the sander with some 80 grit paper

Ive been mightily impressed.
The lighter one has 7 dead straight grains quite a few blemishes & a knot below slice on back
The heavier one 9 grains and less blemished no knots.

No stickers, paint or grip has obviously shed a fair bit of weight.

They look great, well played Sir. Wish I'd seen that deal at the time. Do they tap up okay?

Tap up is decent on both (better on heavier one)
Wont bother knocking in for a 15 bat

So I took the lighter of the Neons to nets last night.
No knocking in, just straight out the packet & play.
Bowling was a mix of decent seamers, medium pacers & gentle spin.
It really performed really well, pick up is great, its light but feels big.
Plenty of middle, Ive used loads of bats in my time and for a first outing this is very acceptable indeed.
For 15 its a cracker. In a blind test u would never have guessed the grade. Its just a high quality GM (but fuglier)
Also I didnt worry at all lending it to our resident power hitter for a waft. He destroyed some bowling with ease.
Its a keeper.
