T-webbing
« on: June 16, 2008, 05:29:44 PM »

possibly a daft question, but what is the advantage to t-webbing? it seems to be more popular, but I can't figure out why? there's some keeping gloves that I might get as they are bargain price, but they don't have t-webbing - it'll cost 10 more to get a pair that do

I have always just used single strap, don't actualy think there is an advantage just personal preferance. They tend to be more on traditional english gloves with long cuffs where aussie gloves have the single strap and shorter cuff.

my mistake - I though the webbing in some gloves went all the way around, but it just that the single strap was fatter then I thought - this probably doesn't make sense does it  ??? I know what I'm trying to say!!!

I've decided on the single strap bargain gloves

Single strap IMO is stronger than T because if you get one near the egde of the T is seeems to "crumple"

just Sommers, and only last seasons stuff - www.freewebs.com/whac-kit is our site, though the only stuff on there is the items I've advertised on here as well. We are also doing sundries i.e. grips, bat oil, studs, bat tape and club wear such as polo shirts and hoodies, but none of this is on the site at the mo. We're trying to get into shirts etc... we've sourced a cheap embroiderer local to us and had some shirts made for us in India - unfortunately we got hit with a pretty harsh import charge, so might have to leave that for a while.
