I played on Thursday.
Am still sore! Was fine in a very thick UA cold gear baselayer, shirt and fleecy jumper.
Glad I wasn't in the sleet today!

A proper two jumper day today,(still wore shorts to the game tho) especially when it started with the hailstones!
I never bat in a jumper tho, so my nips are gonna be sore for a month

Did anyone have a warm up? What was the chat like? It was awfully quiet in the field but I have a feeling it was because everyone was freezing...

Ill be t shirt only today. You need to do more in the field or get some quick singles in!

Slight correction i did opt for a jumper, it was one of the coldest days cricket i can remember

This thread needs more northerners :D

Half our side on Saturday were strolling around in just a short sleeve shirt as we waiting for the hailstones to finish, a few complaining why we couldn't play through it
