Pretty abysmal planning if that's right.

Both games today rained off

South Africa top the group and play Australia

England play India.

The rain will decide the finalists unfortunately, Looking forward to our semi and I hope it gets played, England have improved since the first game and India have been the best side so far

Great to hear Thailand put on a good show today.  I didn't see it, but 3/150 against Pakistan including what I heard was the equal 4th largest powerplay total for the entire tournament!  Shame it was rained out.

The forecast is not improving for the semi finals.  If they can't be played it sets up a India v Sth Africa final

Just a shame that the local media don't appear to be particularly interested in what the women's team has achieved. The Thai cricket board has been very supportive of the women and I believe are chucking more money at the women than the men's game out here - the men are currently coming a distant second in games against Singapore, Malaysia, HK and Nepal in the Asian Cricket Eastern conference being played and hosted in Thailand at the moment.

I have on occasions seen colts sides training in the nets whilst playing out here, bowling machines and all, which is a good sign.

First final abandoned without a ball being bowled.  England out, and India into the final.  Shame, as it was building up to being a great game.

Not looking promising for the next game either, but the rain may be clearing.

What a terribly planned tournament, no reserve days for knockouts is crazy. And having them both at the same place and this reducing the margin for squeezing in any sort of game if it rains is even crazier.

The playing them both in the same place is the most crazy thing to me. England been completely stuffed, albeit they should have topped the ground in the 1st place. Surely you could play the other semi in Adelaide for example, giving a whole day to get the game in etc....

I reckon Aus vs SA might actually get a reduced overs game in. For the good of the tournament Aus really do need to be in the final as well.

Awful scheduling but England women were dire and have gone backwards over the last few years

Few confusing decisions about batting orders, etc... and they could really do with another power hitter (ie someone like Verma) but I don't think they were dire. Sciver had an excellent tournament, bowlers were generally very good. Just let down by a poor performance in the first game.

One bad performance doesn't make you dire. I do agree that as a team they haven't progressed as they should have done following the world cup win.

Leaves a sour taste to me that Aus are in the final. Have been pretty lacklustre (for hosts and such short favourites) and incredibly lucky to go through. SA can count themselves very unlucky. Though their game management requires a lot of work. Chloe Tryon coming in with 10 balls to go or whatever is insane

Bit harsh in terms of dire, dont think the standard in general has been as good as previous years granted, but they got better as tournament progressed, probably would have beaten India too

Agreed though they have gone backwards, and selections havent helped. Some players hanging on cos their face fits IMO

Can't help but think this final would have been alot closer with England in it.

India have don't have the experience on the big stage, it showed in the WC final against us at Lords and has showed again.
