Thank you to everyone for your advice and the direct messages offering bats etc.  I am pleased to say that Gary has sorted me out with a G2 Bellingham & Smith bat that looks a bit of a beast...well until I take it out into the middle!  Thanks again and slightly concerned I have caught the cricket bat buying bug.

Nice. Gary always seems to look after people.

Great stuff, glad you've got something and pretty sure you'll be more than happy with a B&S, they're great bats

Another 3 bats, full set of protective kit for nets, spare helmet, duffle bag to store all that extra kit...

Just sharing couple of images of the new bat from Gary - now I've worked out how to do it :D 

Really happy....Christmas present for me so will have to resist starting to knock in until the big day - that will please the relatives (assuming allowed to see them).
