Lewis for me, matched the all time great, has more wins, more poles, as good as a year the others have had Lewis have topped his sport,

Henderson wasn't even the best midfielder in that Liverpool side....

Tyson for me

Hamilton a bit like going out to bat with a bat three times as wide whilst everybody else has to bat with a normal width bat

Hes also a crank, but that discussion is for another time and place. I said Fury was a good bet once the olympics didnt look like happening.

It maybe harsh but that being the final 6 that are shortlisted to me just highlights how much Covid decimated sport in 2020.

Only 6 nominees these days? Shame for Tao Geohegan Hart, not that he'd have been in with a shout of winning. Hamilton will walk it.

Yet he has the same equipment as bottas and has smashed him as well, yes you need the best equipment to be competitive but the rest is down to the driver

Indeed, I can't think of a more underwhelming year.

Tyson Fury has asked to be taken off the shortlist and is asking people not to vote for him....

The small list just got even smaller  :).

Hamilton is one of our best sportsmen ever, I don't know myself how much technology plays a part compared to Senna for example-but I have only a little knowledge of F1.

I would of voted for Fury, I'm a boxing fan and think he's wonderful, eccentric but great.

Or has his car?

My issue with voting for Hamilton is, odious hypocrite is not my kind of sporting personality...

Update, Fury wants to come off the list, BBC say he has to stay on it. You couldn't make it up, I guess there is not enough numbers.

I wouldn't bet against the British public now voting for him en mass for an award he does not want  :)

Either that or he does want the award and this is a genius move!
