Bowling machine 4 fielding
« on: September 14, 2010, 07:36:56 AM »

i know you can get the bola machine for fielding, but can't see the club forking out on one just yet. Any ideas on using the standard bola for fielding drills?do cricket balls really ruin it?the standard red pimpled ones arent great for catching, few of my clubmates disagree but im sure my old coach John Rice (ex hampshire) told me they were finger breakers?

It was in the test match lunch break where haskell eng's fielding coach was doing some awesome, awesome drills.

Love a good drill.

Don't know about bowling machine, but we should certainly invest in a fusion skyer! Fresh for Cherwell league! awesome piece of kit. Also apparently those sidearm thingys are good for fielding drills. You should get one to add to your fielding gizmo's :P
